The hydropneumatic accumulator, using the compressibility of the gases (in this case an inert gas such as nitrogen), makes it possible to store, in hydraulic circuits, quantities of pressurized fluids that we know are incompressible. FOX manufactures hydropneumatic accumulators both with bladder and diaphragm operation.
In both version, the body is constructed in one piece, deforming high-strength steel pipes, or joining two distinct components by means of a special thread which, subjected to dynamic pressures, tends to self-lock. As for the elastic part, FOX offers a wide range of alternatives depending on the type of fluid used and the operating temperature.
The same goes for the fluid side or nitrogen side valves that can boast a multiplicity of different executions.

FOX accumulators can be used in several application; below some example:

FOX guarantees for two (2) years, from the date of shipment, the totality of its range of products against any kind of defect related to the execution or to the materials.
